Correção para falha no Medibuntu

Problema

Após atualizar a lista de pacotes, o sistema informa uma falha relacionada ao repositório Medibuntu. O usuário recebe as seguintes mensagens de erro (ou similares):

W: Falhou ao buscar http://packages.medibuntu.org/dists/precise/free/i18n/Translation-pt_BR Não foi possível ligar a packages.medibuntu.org:http:

...

W: Falhou ao buscar http://packages.medibuntu.org/dists/precise/non-free/i18n/Translation-pt Não foi possível ligar a packages.medibuntu.org:http:

E: Alguns arquivos index falharam ao ser baixados. Eles foram ignorados, ou cópias antigas são usadas ao invés.

Ou...

Err http://packages.medibuntu.org precise/free Translation-en
Unable to connect to packages.medibuntu.org:http:

...

W: Failed to fetch http://packages.medibuntu.org/dists/precise/non-free/i18n/Translation-en Unable to connect to packages.medibuntu.org:http:

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Solução

Executar, no Terminal, os seguintes comandos:

sudo su

echo deb http://packages.medibuntu.org:8080 $(lsb_release -cs) free non-free > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list

exit

Atualizar a lista de pacotes e verificar se o problema foi resolvido.
